Meet Woody,
This boy was picked up as a TNVMR back in January. Unfortunately he was found to have laboured breathing during his vet check and after X rays discovered he had a hernia in his diaphragm so needed immediate surgery. Thankfully he has made a full recovery and due to his sweet and kind nature we cannot return him to the street, especially after all he’s been through.
This boy would benefit from a home with calm and respectable kids he is extremely loving but still a bit timid around loud noises. I think he would be fine with a gentle cat to give him confidence but he was getting bullied on the street so he is not the bravest. If he were homed with other pets introductions would have to be done slowly to ensure a postive relationship.
He is still very young and loves to play, he has been a real fighter through all this so I’d love him to find the perfect home.
All pet adoption listings on the Petopia website are managed and maintained by our partner shelters across the country. While Petopia provides a platform to connect animals with potential adopters, we do not manage, process, or respond to adoption inquiries directly. You may submit an adoption request form from each pet’s profile page, but all requests and communications are handled by the respective shelter. Petopia is not responsible for the accuracy of the listings, availability of pets, or any part of the adoption process. For updates or questions, please reach out to the shelter directly via their profile page.
